Japanese Garden

The Hikaru Mizu Japanese Garden was dedicated to serve as a memorial to those Japanese Americans interned during World War II and to the many Japanese Americans who fought valiantly during the war in both the Atlantic and Pacific theaters.

Through generous donations and volunteer efforts from community members the 1.3 acre garden has evolved from what once was a lot of overgrown weeds into a beautiful, serene and peaceful retreat. The garden offers an escape from everyday life, the opportunity to slow down and reflect on the beauty of nature, a place to celebrate life.
